So I have been thinking of making a webcomic for a while now.  I have to thank the guy who kept telling me not to draw yaoi for his web comic.  When people tell me what to draw, I naturally draw what the person wants and nothing extra.  Thanks to my client repeatedly telling not to draw yaoi, which I wasn't going to in the first place, I ended up thinking about my own webcomic.  I should also thank my boyfriend for telling the guy I liked yaoi when I wasn't around.  

I have been researching how to go about making a webcomic, through researching online, watching youtube videos, and visiting a few forums.  I think I found some good information in general.  I tried asking someone face to face who I knew does a few webcomics.  Sadly...he would not give me a link since he drew girls in skimpy outfits and sexual poses.  I only wish such material would offend me but there are SO many male artists that have pages upon pages on deviantart of skimpy girls in sexual poses, I just yawn and move on to another person.  In general, I find a lot of female character designs boring since a female character's design is usually focused on attracting the male audience.  Male characters are a lot more interesting since their designs come in a variety (from ugly brutes, to plain, and to drop dead sexy).  

The guy told me stuff I already knew as well for attracting people to my webcomic.  I guess I wont find out what I need to do until I get started with my webcomic.

Miny rants aside....
I guess I will work on my webcomics' writing, character artwork, worldbuilding (sci-fi universe with a different planet than Earth and space colonization), and see how I want to do the panels.  Expect a lot of character concepts coming on this account.  The webcomic might be ready to go in one or two years after a lot of male anatomy drawing and time with photoshop.

Still working on my visual novel by the way.

As I work more to develop my first visual novel Trapped, I am getting more comfortable with Photoshop and using a tablet.  I am going to be submitting sprites from Trapped as I complete them.  I won't release all the sprites in order to leave some surprise for the visual novel.  

I'm very happy that I am currently done with drawing the female sprites and I can start on the male sprites.  I'm a little tired of drawing the female body and want to put some time into studying male anatomy and drawing male characters.  

Maybe I might draw something that is not Trapped related so I don't get burned out on my indie project (like a banner for my website).

1. I love looking at fan art but I don't draw fan art often.  I guess because each time I draw fan art a part of me dies. At least the creative side of me dies a little.

2. I used to want to work at a mainstream video game company someday until I suddenly lost interest.  Now I want to be an indie game developer and work at my own paste.  Also I doubt I could even get my foot in the door of a mainstream video game company with my current art or programing skills.

3. I really do appreciate it when people favorite, watch me, or take their time to comment on my artwork.  For some reason I need a reminder that people do like my art work and I should keep trying to improve myself.

4. I love competing in fighting game tournaments.  My favorite fighting games right now are BlazBlue, Persona 4 Arena, and SoulCalibur V.  I might attend a major this April in Richmond, Virginia for BlazBlue and Persona 4 Arena. R.I.P. SoulCalibur V.  Project Soul was successful in killing that game's FG scene.  My psn is iceangel123

5. This is my old deviantart page ::Lilith40: .  I guess I will redraw some of my old pictures and post them on this page someday.  When I am done redrawing everything I want to draw I will delete that page.

6. I like drawing anime and cartoons more than real people.  I see the huge benefits in drawing from real life so I guess I will draw from real life more.  My anatomy studies are not going to appear on this deviantart any time soon.
